A man was stabbed to death during a fight Saturday night in the Douglas Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side, police said.

About 9:10 p.m, the 29-year-old was sitting with several other males in an alley in the 2600 block of West 15th Street when he got into a fight with another male, who pulled out a knife and stabbed the man in the chest and neck, according to Chicago Police. The attacker then ran away.

The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Area Central detectives were conducting a homicide investigation.
